The machine is designed for making thin ceramic foil from ceramic suspension, used in the production of multilayer ceramic
capacitors ( MLCC ) or other electronic ML based components

The line includes

• a continuous steel belt for casting of the suspension,
• the central driving unit providing continuous control of the belt speed,
• the casting sections,
• the hot air drying system as well as
• the foil removal and
• foil winding assembly.

Drying of the cast suspension, takes place in the drying tunnel by means
of hot air. Temperature and air volume setting enable the choice of the
optimal drying mode.

The ceramic foil removal is effected with a take-off blade.
Subsequently the foil is submitted to the visual inspection and is further
lead to the winding wheel. In the winding operation the wound foil may
be accompanied by an intermediate sheet of paper.
